Best argument I’ve heard for one piece 738
justifying Rebecca A. getting the fruit, and B. joining the crew. I’m
not convinced she will eat it or join – I see many directions the story
could go in, regarding the Mera Mera and/or NN – but I don’t think her
being a princess will hold her back, as some others on here are arguing.
Rebecca is a fighter. But a fighter through and through. Also different from Vivi, I don’t much get the sense she loves her country, at least as strongly as Vivi did. The only reason I imagine she would want to stay is to have a family again Riku, Thunder Soldier, and Violet.I looked at the raw for ch. 720- the kanji used was “Itada”ku many may be familiar with “itadakimasu”-a phase often spoken before meals in Japan which is essentially a very formal way of showing acceptance for an item or effort. It makes sense from the context of the conversation between BB and luffy that BB is telling Luffy that JB will “respectfully accept win the fire fruit”-which is merely a insult to Luffy, considering BB and his crew seem to lack even a drop of respect for anything Oda’s representation of good vs evil. This insult continues with BB’s line of how it will be like Ace joining his crew.
